Pinarello Dogma X review: Comfort and speed in a premium package

The Pinarello Dogma X is the more comfortable alternative to the Dogma, it's comfy and fast but just how effective are those unique X Stays?

In autumn 2023, Pinarello released the Dogma X endurance bike, a model sitting alongside the Dogma F that the brand said would 'reshape how we think about endurance and speed'. I headed to Italy for the initial launch and to test-ride the new bike at the time, and now a year on, having had one at home in the UK for a few months, I can add to those early opinions and bring you a full review.

Design and Aesthetics A unique and stylish design for me. A great riding bike, but i'm just not convinced on the effectiveness of the X Stays8/10
BuildTop tier specs all round, with a range of premium wheelset choices. The MOST handlebar and saddle also fit in well9/10
Weight7.46kg for a medium without pedals, on a par with plenty of other premium disc road bikes these days 8/10
Performance Very good generally. An excellent geometry platform that provides great handling. Fast and comfortable. A clear difference in rides for me between sizes highlights the importance of getting the right size bike for you8/10
ValueThe Dogma X sits at the top end ot the market. Could you achieve similar comfort and fit levels for less cash? I'm confident you could. The top spec frame and components do offer solid performance, they just need to be paid for.7/10
